Download SwitchCut

Version 0.3.2 beta. After installing, open SwitchCut, create a free account in the Licence window and press “Get my beta key”.

Installing

On a Mac

  1. Open the downloaded .pkg file. macOS says it “cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer” – click OK. (Until our Apple developer certificate arrives, macOS shows this for every download.)
  2. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to Security and click Open Anyway next to “SwitchCut… was blocked”. Enter your Mac password.
  3. Click Open in the next message, then follow the installer.

On Windows

  1. Open the downloaded Setup file. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway.
  2. Follow the installer.

After that, SwitchCut checks for updates by itself and offers each new version when it's ready.
