Beta terms

Last updated: 4 November 2026

These terms apply while SwitchCut and other Kurgu Tools apps are in beta. The licence terms for paid versions will be published before sales start.

The beta

• The beta is free and runs until 30 November 2026, unless we extend it.
• Each account gets one beta key, used on one computer at a time. You can move it to another computer by releasing the first one.
• We may change or end the beta. We announce important changes in the app or by e-mail.

Beta software

Beta software can contain errors. Always keep your original files, and check the timelines SwitchCut makes before delivering work to clients. The beta is provided as it is, without warranty. As far as the law allows, Smart V SRL is not liable for lost work, data or income resulting from using it.

Your account

• Keep your password private. An account is for one person.
• Don't share or sell keys. We can switch off keys that are shared or misused.

Your files

Your footage remains yours. SwitchCut processes it on your own computer and does not upload it.

Law

Belgian law applies. Disputes go to the courts of Brussels. Questions: support@kurgutools.com.
